These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of fixnowappliance.com (the “Site”) and to the appliance repair services provided by Fix Now LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as Fix Now Appliance (“Fix Now Appliance,” “we,” “us” or “our”).
By using the Site, requesting service, or approving a repair, you agree to these Terms. Please read them, especially the sections on our warranty and limitation of liability.
1. Booking and appointments
You can request service by phone or through the Site. A request is not an appointment. Your appointment is set when we confirm a date and an arrival window with you.
Arrival windows and same-day service are estimates, not guarantees. Traffic, weather, parts availability and earlier jobs can cause delays. If we are running late, we will let you know. We are not responsible for losses caused by a late arrival or a rescheduled visit.
Please call (727) 425-2707 as early as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule. We may also reschedule a visit because of an emergency, severe weather or other events outside our control.
2. Diagnosis and quotes
At the visit, the technician inspects the appliance and gives you a quote for the repair before starting any work. We do not start a repair without your approval.
The diagnostic fee is $89. It covers the visit and finding the fault. If you decline the quote, you pay the $89 diagnostic fee and nothing else.
If you approve the quote, the price you approved is the price you pay for the work described in the quote. The $89 diagnostic fee is credited toward that price, not added to it.
If we find another problem during the repair that isn’t covered by the quote, we will stop, explain it and give you a separate price. We will not do additional work without your approval.
Prices given over the phone are estimates based on what you tell us. The firm price is the one the technician gives you after inspecting the appliance.
3. Parts
We use original manufacturer (OEM) or manufacturer-approved parts. If a part isn’t on the truck, we will order it and schedule a return visit. Delivery times depend on the supplier and the manufacturer, and we are not responsible for their delays or for parts that a manufacturer has discontinued.
For special-order or expensive parts, we may ask for a deposit before ordering. We will always tell you the amount and whether it is refundable before you pay it.
If you ask us to install a part you bought yourself, we may agree or decline. Parts you supply, and the labor to install them, are not covered by our warranty.
4. Payment
Payment is due when the repair is complete and the appliance has been tested in front of you. We accept cash, card and bank transfer. You will receive a written receipt that lists the work done, the parts installed, the price and the warranty period.
Our repair warranty takes effect when the repair has been paid in full. Any deposit you paid is applied to the final price.
5. Your responsibilities
To let us work safely and efficiently, you agree to:
- have an adult (18 or older) present for the visit who owns the appliance or is authorized by the owner to approve the work;
- give us clear access to the appliance, the power outlet or breaker, and the water and gas shut-off valves;
- keep pets and children away from the work area;
- tell us about any hazards you know of, such as leaks, mold, damaged wiring or a gas smell;
- give us accurate information about the appliance and the problem.
We may refuse or stop work if conditions are unsafe, including gas leaks, exposed wiring, mold, pest infestations or threatening behavior. If we find an appliance that is dangerous to use, we may disconnect it and tell you why.
6. Our limited repair warranty
We warrant our repairs for 3 to 12 months, depending on the repair. The exact period is written on your receipt. The warranty starts on the date the repair is completed.
What the warranty covers
The specific parts we installed, and our labor to install them, against defects and failure under normal household use. If a covered part fails during the warranty period, we will, at our choice, repair or replace it at no charge, or refund what you paid for that repair.
What the warranty does not cover
- parts we did not replace, or a different problem with the same appliance;
- parts you supplied, and the labor to install them;
- damage from misuse, neglect, accidents, power surges, lightning, flooding, pests, improper installation by others, or failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions;
- appliances that someone other than us has repaired, adjusted or modified after our repair;
- appliances used for commercial purposes, unless we agreed to that in writing;
- cosmetic damage and normal-wear items such as filters, bulbs, gaskets and knobs, unless we replaced them;
- food spoilage, water damage, lost wages, or any other indirect or consequential loss.
How to make a claim
Call (727) 425-2707 as soon as you notice the problem and have your receipt ready. Please don’t let anyone else work on the appliance before we have looked at it. We are not responsible for the cost of repairs by another company.
Manufacturer warranties and the law
Our warranty is separate from any manufacturer warranty. If your appliance is still under the manufacturer’s warranty, contact the manufacturer first. To the extent the law allows, any implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the period of this written warranty. Some states do not allow limits on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so these limits may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
7. Repair or replace advice
If we tell you that a repair isn’t worth the money, or estimate how long an appliance will last, that is our honest professional opinion based on what we can see. It is not a guarantee. The decision to repair or replace is yours.
8. Existing conditions and our responsibility
Older appliances and connections can be worn, rusted or brittle. Water lines, valves, fittings, screws and plastic parts may crack or break when we handle them, even with proper care. We will tell you if we see this risk before we start. We are not responsible for damage caused by such existing conditions, or by problems with your home’s plumbing, wiring, gas lines or venting.
We take care when moving appliances, but moving a heavy appliance can mark some floors and walls. If you believe we damaged your property, tell us within 7 days of the visit so we can look at it.
9. Information on the website
The Site gives general information about appliance problems, including error code meanings and simple checks you can do yourself. Error codes and their meanings differ between models and years, and the information may not apply to your appliance. It is not a substitute for an inspection by a qualified technician.
If you try any check or repair yourself, you do so at your own risk. Always unplug the appliance or turn off the breaker first, and turn off the gas supply on gas appliances. If you smell gas, leave the building and call your gas company or 911 from outside.
10. Using the website
You may use the Site to learn about our services and to contact us. You agree not to use it for anything unlawful, to submit false requests or someone else’s information without permission, to interfere with the Site’s operation or security, or to copy its content by automated means.
The text, photos, logo and design of the Site belong to Fix Now LLC or its licensors and may not be copied without our permission.

11. Website disclaimer
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind about the Site, including that it will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or free of errors or harmful components. This section does not limit the repair warranty in section 6.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Fix Now LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including food spoilage, water damage that results from a pre-existing condition, loss of use of an appliance, lost income, or the cost of a replacement appliance.
Our total liability for any claim related to a repair is limited to the amount you paid us for that repair. Our total liability for any claim related to your use of the Site is limited to $100.
These limits do not apply to personal injury or property damage caused by our negligence where the law does not allow such limits, or to our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
13. Calls, texts and your information
By giving us your phone number, you agree that we may call or text you about your request and your repair, as described in our Privacy Policy. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop text messages. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your information.
14. Disputes and governing law
If you have a problem with our work or these Terms, please call or email us first. Most problems can be fixed quickly. If we can’t resolve it within 30 days, either of us may take the matter further.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any lawsuit related to these Terms, the Site or our services must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Pasco County, Florida, and you and we agree to the jurisdiction of those courts. Either of us may bring a claim in small claims court if it qualifies.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a new version on this page and changing the “Last updated” date. The version in effect on the date of your service applies to that service.
16. General
These Terms, together with the written quote and receipt for a specific repair, are the entire agreement between you and us about that repair. If a written quote or receipt conflicts with these Terms, the quote or receipt controls for that repair.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don’t enforce a right right away, we don’t give it up. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. Our warranty stays with the appliance at the original service address, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
